Valerie Chapman lives in Oak Grove a block from the Trolley Trail with her husband, Gwion, and three chickens. Her children attended North Oak Grove, Milwaukie Junior High, Rowe Junior High and Milwaukie High as well as St. John the Baptist and LaSalle. She was part of TriMet’s Citizen Advisory Committee for the Orange Line, chairs the Park Avenue Community Advisory Committee, has been a representative to MAP-IT and is currently the vice chair of the Oak Grove Community Council.

She loves to garden, play with grandchildren and explore the area on public transit and on foot – except when there is a pandemic.
