Mitra Anoushiravani is a community activist in Oak Lodge. While she’s the daughter of an Iranian-American immigrant, she’s also the second generation of her family raised in Oak Lodge, and is presently raising the third. After leaving Oregon for college and work opportunities, she returned from southern California in 2013 to raise her family.
Recognizing that much has changed here since 1956, when her grandparents decided to build their house and raise their four children in Oak Grove, Mitra is excited to explore the potential and develop a shared vision that can sustain future generations in our beloved community.
Read about Mitra’s motivation for volunteering with OLGP in the Clackamas Review.
